The same tree is shown in four cards, one season at a time: new leaves and flowers in spring, full green leaves in the summer sun, red, orange and yellow leaves that start to fall in autumn, and bare branches with snow in winter. An arrow then loops from winter back to spring to show that the seasons repeat every year.

Summer is the warmest season of all.

The tree is full of green leaves.

In fall, the weather gets cooler.

The leaves turn red, orange and yellow.

Then the leaves start falling to the ground.
