Terms of Service — KnowledgeMadeFun

KnowledgeMadeFun ("KMF," "we," "our") is a learning platform for students, teachers, and parents. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use KMF

13 and older: you can sign up on your own.
Under 13: a parent or guardian must create the account and acknowledge our privacy notice. We rely on that acknowledgement to comply with COPPA.
Teachers: you confirm you have the right to invite the students on your roster and (where required) that their guardians have consented.

2. Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account. If you suspect someone else is using it, reset your password and email us at [email protected].

3. What you can do

Use KMF to learn, teach, and assign work.
Create documents, quizzes, and homework in the tools we provide. You keep ownership of anything you write; you grant us a limited licence to display it back to you and to the people you share it with.
Cancel any time. Your access continues until the end of the billing period.

4. What you can't do

Try to break, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
Upload content that is illegal, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
Resell, scrape, or impersonate KMF.
Use Kelly to harm anyone, including yourself.

5. Pricing & cancellation

The free tier covers everything you need to study and to assign work. The $9 Monthly Pass unlocks unlimited Kelly tutoring. Cancel any time from Account → Subscription; we never charge cancellation fees.

6. Disclaimers

KMF's AI tutor uses Google Gemini and may make mistakes. Treat answers as study aids, not authoritative truth — especially for medical, legal, or safety-critical topics.

The service is provided "as is". We can't guarantee 100% uptime, and we may add or remove features over time. We'll do our best to give notice for major changes.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our maximum liability for any claim arising out of using KMF is the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months, or $50 if you're on the free tier.

8. Termination

You can delete your account any time from Account → Privacy & data. We may suspend accounts that break these terms; we'll explain why before doing so unless it's an emergency (e.g. security incident).

9. Changes to these terms

We'll post the updated terms here and email you if the change is material. Continuing to use KMF after a change means you accept the new terms.
