Increasing Patterns: Add the Same Amount

Block towers of 3, 5 and 7 grow by 2 blocks each time, shown by the 2 new amber blocks on top of each tower, and the "+2" jumps are checked one by one before the next tower is built with 9 blocks and counted to check. The same idea then works with numbers to 100: 60, 70, 80, 90 each grow by 10, so 100 comes next, and the video ends on the recap "Each step adds the same amount."

What the lesson says
Look at these block towers. What comes next?
Count the blocks in each tower: 3, 5, 7.
Each tower has 2 more blocks than the one before.
3 plus 2 more makes 5.
5 plus 2 more makes 7.
7 plus 2 more makes 9. The next tower has 9 blocks.
Count to check: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.
This is an increasing pattern. It grows by 2 each time.
Numbers can grow too: 60, 70, 80, 90. What comes next?
Each number is 10 more than the one before.
90 plus 10 more makes 100. So the next number is 100.
Each step adds the same amount. That tells you what comes next.
