Using the Pictures to Predict What Happens

A story page that says only "Hello!" gives no hint of what happens next, until the picture shows a snowman waving hello to the sun, and two clues are counted one at a time: the warm sun and water dripping off the snowman. Using those clues, we predict that the snowman will melt, turn the page to a puddle that says "Goodbye!" to check that we were right, and end on the recap "Pictures help us predict what happens next."
