Five kinds of lines are drawn one at a time, each by a tool that suits it, and a copy of each line flies into a picture frame to become part of a scene: thick lines make a tree, a thin line holds a spider, wavy lines make water, a zigzag makes grass and a jagged line makes mountain tops. A dashed guide shows that zigzag points are all the same size while jagged points are not, and the video ends with the five rows beside the finished picture: lines make pictures.
