What the lesson says

How does a community change over time?

Here is a town long ago, back then.

It had a field, a river and a shop.

Many years later, here is the same town now.

People built a new school on the field.

People built a new bridge over the river.

The old shop closed its doors.

Some things stay the same, like the river.

Let's count the changes: one, two, three.

Communities change over time, from then to now.
