Graph homework

Send a graph paper assignment, review submissions side-by-side.

Sketch the starter graph students will see, write the prompt, choose who gets it. They draw their answer on top and submit. You read every submission with the starter visible alongside.

What you'll be able to do

  • Send a graph homework assignment to a roster
  • Review every student's submission in one tab
  • Share an open link if you don't have a roster

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open Graph homework

Sidebar → Classroom → Graph homework. Click 'New assignment'.

  2. 2

Sketch the starter (or leave blank)

Draw the axes, sample points, or shapes you want students to start with. Or skip — they'll start with blank graph paper.

  3. 3

    Write the prompt

What should the student do on the canvas? Plot a function? Reflect a shape? The prompt appears next to their canvas.

  4. 4

    Pick recipients

Either tick names from your roster or leave it open — anyone with the link will be able to submit.

  5. 5

    Review

When students submit, open the assignment to see them in the sidebar. The starter graph stays visible for comparison.
